ALLERGY TESTING

Most of the time food sensitivities can be established by a simple customized elimination diet.  When this is not successful there are more specialized blood tests to rule out food intolerance to hundreds of foods including dairy, soy, wheat and gluten.

BLOOD TESTS

A broad range of blood tests are available including those you routinely would get at a yearly visit to your medical doctor (for example, cholesterol, blood glucose, etc.), as well as more specialized tests (for example, comprehensive allergy testing).

BONE HEALTH MARKERS

A specialized panel of tests provides information about bone markers that are a reflection of your bone health.  It includes markers such as DpD (Bone marker), Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Cortisol and more.

BREAST AND PROSTATE CANCER RISK TEST

A new urine test looking for the ratio of 2-hydroxyestrone (20HE1) to 16-alpha-hydroxyestrone (16OHE1), can help assess your risk for both breast as well as prostate cancer.  If these run in your family or you are currently at risk, this test can be useful both to establish your risk as well as to monitor improvements in treatments designed to minimize your risks.

GASTROINTESTINAL HEALTH PANELS

We provide an impressive array of specialized gastrointestinal health panels to help provide more specific treatment protocols to those suffering from chronic and undiagnosed digestive problems.  These tests are not available through ordinary conventional medicine.  They provide information about parasites, ova, yeast overgrowth, fungal infections, flora imbalances, and more.

HORMONE TESTING

Specialized saliva tests are available from a number of customized hormone panels to help monitor age, lifestyle and disease related fluctuations in hormones such as estrogen, testosterone, thyroid hormones, progesterone and DHEA-S.  For more information about hormone testing please see www.rmalab.com

INSULIN RESISTANCE TEST

A new breath test called C Glucose Breath Test can help establish if you are at risk for developing diabetes.  This test can be useful to indicate where treatment is necessary BEFORE a diagnosis of diabetes is made by your medical doctor.

STRESS TESTS

Your adrenal glands (sometimes referred to as stress glands) are extremely important for many functions such as energy production, muscle and joint functioning, bone health, immune health, sleep quality, skin regeneration, thyroid functioning, stress management, blood pressure and more.  If you are chronically stressed your adrenal glands may not be functioning properly and this can affect many areas of your health.  A specialized saliva panel can help establish the functioning of your adrenal glands.

THYROID PANEL

Thyroid problems often go undetected by mainstream medicine due to the limitations of blood tests typically used.  The thyroid can effect everything form your utilization of vitamins to sexual functioning and sleep.  Despite what your blood tests might say, if you are experiencing fatigue, dry hair and skin, hoarse voice, cold intolerance, facial swelling, constipation, weight gain and/or excessive menstrual flow, you may have hypothyroidism.  Or, if you are experiencing nervousness, anxiety, fatigue, palpitations, weight loss, increased sweating, loose or frequent bowel movements and/or sleep disturbances, you may have hyperthyroidism.

URINE ANALYSIS

This simple and routine on-site test is included in your initial consultation to screen for common problems such as urinary tract infections, diabetes or illness.
